Ok, I know this isn’t a foodie blog. This ISN’T a foodie blog. But I was asked about the recipe for the Pear salad. I thought I could link to it on my Facebook page, but I don’t know how to do that so that everyone can get to it………so here it is.
Jen’s Pear & Blue Cheese Salad for Two Half an avocado pear, sliced 1 large pear A handful of lettuce leaves (Jen used baby salad leaves, the more variety the better) A handful of rocket A Handful of dry-roasted seeds (Jen used pumpkin, sesame, and sunflower seeds, and pecan nuts) 1 stick of celery finely sliced A few slices of red and yellow pepper A couple of inches thinly sliced cucumber 2 tablespoons of crumbled blue cheese (feta too, if you like) Salad dressing of choice (Jen used olive oil and balsamic vinegar, the latter flavoured if you can get it) Layer all ingredients deliciously on two plates
