THE STORIES

These are stories I have written about people in the Bible or people connected to people (or stories) in the Bible.  I have usually told them in Church instead of a sermon that day in an attempt to connect with hearts rather than just heads.

They are opportunities to meet Bible characters as real, live, just-like-you-and-me, people.  They are an attempt to put flesh onto the bare bones of the Bible story but, while they are intended to be true to the scriptures they will only drill down to one aspect of the Bible story or character. USAGE
Please do not distribute these stories in written or electronic form without checking with me (they do belong to me and being visible in the public domain doesn’t change that); a comment on this site will get a quick enough response.
Otherwise, do adapt and use them in your own context.  But please do two things: acknowledge the source and please let me know what you did and how it went.

The Treasure Hidden in a Field

“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who finds a treasure hidden in a field. The man went and sold everything he had and bought that field.”
